Tour Marquette University – Wellness + Helfaer Recreation

The Marquette University Wellness + Helfaer Recreation Center was designed to support recreation, fitness, and student connection.  The 195,000 square foot building, completed in 2025, includes renovated areas as well as additions to the building footprint and new upper levels.  This IES Milwaukee tour, led by lighting designer Holly Blomquist from Ring & DuChateau, will explore various space types including multi-level lobby/fitness zone, pool, tennis volume, gymnasium, and wellness suites including facilities addressing both physical and metal health.

The building is located at the SW corner of 16th and Clybourn streets.  Tour will commence at 5:30pm.  Meet at the building main entrance on 16^th street.  The nearest campus parking structure is the 16^th street structure located 1 block north of the building between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street.  Street parking is also available.
