Horticulture lighting applications can vary from multi-acre greenhouses to small indoor grows. There is a lot more to horticulture lighting than just running a lamp over a plant. Choosing between various fixture types, light sources, color spectrums, PAR outputs, distribution footprints, CRIs and CCTs can make entry into this market sector very intimidating. Lighting professionals can help cut through a lot of the confusion with their in-depth product knowledge, but the real opportunities are gained from combining the product expertise of lighting professionals with the real-world, practical application experience and knowledge of the indoor grow experts.
